      Title: Interstate 25 northbound and southbound from 1.2 miles West of CANONCITO exit at mile marker 293 to 0.1 miles West of CANONCITO exit at mile marker 294Description: Santa Fe ��� The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) began bridge replacement work on I-25 north of Santa Fe at Canoncito between mile markers 293 and 294 on April 7, 2014. The scope of the project includes bridge rehabilitation, roadway and ramp reconstruction, and pavement rehabilitation for 1.42 miles within Santa Fe County. Tom Griego is the NMDOT Project Engineer. AUI is the contractor for this project.Traffic Impacts:Starting May 21, the cross road under I-25 (Sleeping Dog Road) will be CLOSED. Local traffic and residents on the south side of I-25 will be detoured to the Valencia Exit 297 to access I-25 South. Local traffic and residents on the north side of I-25 (Old Las Vegas Highway) will be detoured to the Lamy Exit 290 to access I-25 northbound and southbound. The Sleeping Dog Road closure will be in effect until November 2014. -I-25 southbound traffic will be switched over to the northbound lanes. The northbound and southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane through the work zone. The lane closures will be in effect until June 2014. -Motorists can expect minor delays. The posted speed limit is 55 mph through the work zone. There is a 12 foot width restriction in effect.       Title: Interstate 25 northbound and southbound at San Antonio at mile marker 139Description: The NMDOT with Villalobs Construction continue with bridge rehabilitation work for three (3) separate bridges that cross over I-25. The Bridge at NM-1 which is the Luis Lopez Bridge in Socorro is CLOSED on April 22nd for approximately 2 months. Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route.The next bridge will be the San Marcial/exit 125 Bridge (Socorro County) with I-25/exit 79 in T or C (Sierra County) to be completed. The work at each bridge is scheduled to take approximately 2 months. The bridges will be CLOSED in segments as work is being conducted. Detours will be posted as work progresses from one to bridge to another. The contractor has constructed crossovers on I-25 where traffic will be switched over in order for work to be conducted on the bridge overpass.       Title: Interstate 25 from 0.1 miles West of CANONCITO exit at mile marker 294 to 0.3 miles North of GLORIETA/NM 50 exit at mile marker 299Description: I-25 Santa Fe ���Santa Fe ��� The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will start roadway rehabilitation work on I-25 from mile post 294.5 to mile post 299.5 north of Santa Fe between Canoncito and Glorieta. There will be intermittent single lane closures starting on the northbound lanes of I-25 and then moving to the southbound lanes of I-25. Motorists can expect minor delays from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during the work week.Fisher Sand & Gravel New Mexico, Inc. of Placitas, New Mexico is the contractor for this projectThe Federal Highway Administration and NMDOT have partnered to fund these improvements. This $4.9 million roadway rehabilitation work is scheduled for completion summer of 2014. Motorists are urged to proceed through the work zone with caution and observe traffic control signing and reduced speed limits.
