      Title: New Mexico 41 from mile marker 55 to mile marker 56 GalisteoDescription: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) construction work on NM 41 near the Village of Galisteo between mile post 55.53 and mile post 56.1 on April 21, 2014. This work will include the replacement of two bridges and roadway improvements between the two bridges. The bridge work will be located at the San Cristobal Arroyo Bridge south of the Village of Galisteo and the Galisteo Creek Bridge on the southern edge of the Village of Galisteo. Traffic Impacts: Project has been placed on Winter Suspension until Spring of 2015. NM 41 roadway- The northbound and southbound traffic will travel through one lane. during this time. NO oversize vehicles or commercial loads are allowed through the work zone, and NO oversize loads allowed between Stanley and South of County Road 42. There is a 10 width restriction. Motorists traveling south on NM 41 can use U.S. 285 south to Clines Corners to I-40. Motorists traveling north on NM 41 can use I-40 east to Clines Corners to U.S. 285 north. The detours are equivalent to approximately 21 miles.       Title: US 285 from mile marker 248 Fying C Ranch to mile marker 250Description: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues work on the U.S. 285/ I-40 interchange at Clines Corners. This improvement work includes the lengthening and realignment of the westbound exit ramp, the realignment of the westbound entrance ramp, and the lengthening of the eastbound on and off ramps on I-40. The U.S. 285 bridge over I-40 will be widened 24 feet to accommodate two lanes of traffic each way.The work on U.S. 285 from mile marker 248.84 to mile marker 250.46 includes the reconstruction and widening of the existing lanes to accommodate two lanes of traffic each way. Other work on the project includes new drainage structures, new curb and gutter, new signing and the installation of an intelligent transportation system. Traffic Impacts: There are no lane closure on I-40 at this time.The contractor is currently working on US285 overpass. There is a northbound lane closure on US 285. The US 285 northbound and southbound traffic are traveling in one lane in each direction.
