GA 339
State Route 339 (SR 339) is a 3.5-mile (5.6 km) long state highway in Towns County near Young Harris, Georgia, in the North Georgia mountains, just south of the North Carolina state line. It is locally known as Crooked Creek Road.
SR 339 is a very local route that extends from SR 66 approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) south of the North Carolina state line to SR 17/SR 515 just south of the state line. The appropriately named road includes a number of sharp curves and turns.
SR 339 first became part of the state highway system in 1961, and has seen little change since then, except for shoulder widening.[citation needed]
The entire route is in Towns County.
