GA 88

State Route 88 (SR 88) is a state highway that runs southwest-to-northeast through portions of Washington, Jefferson, Burke, and Richmond counties in east-central Georgia. The route runs from its southwestern terminus at SR 24 in Sandersville to its northeastern terminus at US 25 and SR 121 just east of Hephzibah.

The route runs northeast as a divided four-lane highway from Sandersville in Washington County, past its intersection with SR 231 north of Davisboro, into the northern and western portion of Jefferson County, and crosses SR 171 shortly after entering Jefferson County. SR 88 continues in the direction of Wrens, and crosses SR 296 south of Stapleton. Just before heading through Wrens, the route intersects and is co-signed with US 1, US 221, SR 4, and SR 17 into Wrens. The route then breaks off this concurrence, and intersects with, and is very briefly co-signed with SR 80, just before leaving Wrens as a two-lane highway in an easterly direction.

The route then intersects with SR 305 just before turning north and reaching Keysville in Burke County, crossing into Richmond County, and turning east again through Hephzibah and its northeastern terminus.
